As a student with LHA we provide you with supervision throughout your training. On graduation you will need to seek a clinical supervisor to support you through your first three years in practice.
Supervision helps you to develop your professional skills and confidence as a therapist. Many therapists continue engaging in supervision throughout their career as it has enormous benefits.
You can join a supervision group or work one-to-one with a qualified supervisor and both can be face-to-face or virtual, via phone, Zoom or Skype.
Many LHA students and graduates also attend peer group meetings at a lovely local venue. This is an additional opportunity to get support from other therapists.
To be confirmed.
Undertaking Continual Professional Development is a commitment that professional therapists are expected to make in the years following their graduation. Many attend classroom training in order maintain and update their skills and knowledge. This helps them to continue to deliver effective and professional therapy to clients.
Lorraine is a certified supervisor for the NCH. She offers both group and individual supervision.
